MELONITE is a surface treatment designed to improve wear resistance and provide corrosion resistance to ferrous materials.

This process produces the best corrosion resistance possible along with a smooth shiny surface finish that improves the overall appearance. An additional benefit is increased lubricity of parts due to a reduction in the coefficient of friction. It is used for Valves now with the new vision the same we have applied on liners.

Compound zone depths can be specified from .0002" up to .0015". This process provides in excess of 50 HRC of hardness, thin layer produces improved wear resistance and anti-seizing properties.
